Polymer Electronics Laboratory

WHAT WE DO

The Polymer Electronics Laboratory investigates the structure property relationships of semiconducting and metallic polymers and engineers polymer based electronic devices for next generation stretchable and wearable technologies. We tailor electrical and optical performance by controlling molecular orientation and micro and nanoscale morphology, and we translate these insights into functional device platforms.

Our research includes organic field effect transistors and circuits, stretchable and transparent electrodes, polarimetric photodetectors, and electronic skins. Through both fundamental understanding and device level demonstrations, we aim to advance soft, high performance polymer electronics.
